According to the operational data of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, as of 13 May sowing of spring grains and leguminous crops in the country was carried out on the total area 5,9 million hectares, what is 78% from forecast.
In particular, by the reporting date, the sowing of spring wheat was almost completed, already sown 174,7 thousand. it (99% from forecast), spring barley - 1,33 million hectares (96% forecast), oats - 186,8 thousand. it (96% from forecast) and peas - 229,6 thousand. it (98%).
Besides, sown with corn for grain 3,9 million hectares (74%), buckwheat - 26,3 thousand. it (33%), millet - 25,9 thousand. it (22%).
Regarding oilseeds, then sunflower to 13 yeast seeded 4,6 million hectares (72% from forecast), soy - 626 thousand. it (45%).
Sugar beet sowing was carried out on 226,2 thousand. it, what is 100% from planned.
